You will be required to fill in an online visa application form, including a recent photograph, and then make an in-person appointment at the visa centre using the reservation form (access the application form and appointments via the \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visaforchina.cn\/#\/nav\/quickSelection?visacenterCode=LON2&amp;request_locale=en_US&amp;site_alias=LON2_EN&amp;isAuthentication=N\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Quick Access<\/a>\u2019 section of CVASC website). You should submit your application at least one month before your trip but not earlier than three months.<\/p>\n<p>Before going to your appointment, you will need to print out and sign the application form and a separate declaration (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visaforchina.cn\/MAN2_EN\/upload\/file\/20181003\/Declaration%EF%BC%88%E6%96%B0%E7%89%8820180925%EF%BC%89.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>) and print out the reservation form.<\/p>\n<p>Other documents you should prepare include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Passport<\/strong> with at least six months\u2019 validity and two blank pages<\/li>\n<li><strong>Photocopies of the passport\u2019s ID page<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Photocopies of previous Chinese visas<\/strong> (plus photocopies of any previous passports that contained Chinese visas)<\/li>\n<li>An <strong>invitation letter<\/strong> including the applicant\u2019s details; details of the planned visit (including purpose, dates, locations, etc.); details of the inviting party (including official stamp, signature of the legal representative or individual, and Chinese ID if the inviting party is a Chinese individual)<\/li>\n<li>Recent passport photo (in case of any issues with the photo uploaded with your form)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the appointment, show your reservation form, and you will be given a queue number and called forward to a desk. You will then be asked to submit your documents and have your fingerprints collected. In some cases, you may need to submit to a short interview.
